Volkskniven - $100

The mission: Build a handcrafted knife for a hundred bucks.
The strategy: Find inexpensive materials, break the design down to the bare essentials.
The result: Volkskniven.

For the bushcrafter, woodsman, outdoor enthusiast, or knife-lover on a budget. The Volkskniven was created with quality, performance, and value in mind. Readily-available materials are put through the exact same production regiment as higher-priced knives, minus frills. What emerges is a high-performing, comfortable, quality knife that won't break the bank.

The blade is reclaimed 3/32" 1084 high-carbon steel, flat-ground, forge-hardened and tempered to Rc 56-58.
The handle is a sturdy white oak, hand-shaped and finished with several coats of Tung Oil. The pins are 1/8" stainless.
Each knife comes with a handmade leather sheath, with low-profile belt loop, riveted welt, and in any color you like, as long as its black.
